Have you ever wondered how many life changing decisions you can make in a month? Well, let’s see….there are many things that could fall under the “life changing” category, but I am only going to touch on a few…That is enough, believe me! We have decided to get married, plan a wedding in 5 months, change jobs and move to Texas. Don’t be too overwhelmed, things really just seem to be falling into place. If you ask me a little later, I may be singing a different tune, but right now, I am calm, cool and collected.
Scott and Keely 2010!!! We are planning a wedding for August 7th. We had plans to have a destination wedding, but couldn’t seem to get everybody on the same page, so we decided against it. We are trading the beach for the lake and going to have an intimate wedding at Red Apple Inn in Heber Springs. I was pretty bummed at first but I love the lake and the weekend with friends will be amazing no matter where we are. I have done a lot of searching and calling and making appointments and I am really excited! I can’t wait to marry the man of my dreams!!!
The moving part is equally exciting. Scott is about to make a major move in his career. He will be working for Medicine Chest as the Director of Software Development for their Generic Best Buy application. I am so proud of him! I have an interview tomorrow at the newspaper down there (I will keep you posted). We have been to Sulphur Springs, Texas once since all of this has been set into motion and I can tell you that I see a lot of potential. It will definitely take some getting used to. Dallas is just down the road though…which will be nice. IKEA here I come!
The Texas part of this move is a little touch and go. I mean as most of you know I had a small football crush on Colt McCoy, BUT I am not a Texas girl! Everywhere you turn there is a lone star on the wall and the shape of the state is a regular decoration most places. We have put in an order for a Razorback flag and blow up hog for the front yard! Well….maybe just a flag, but we are going to represent….Woo Pigs!
SO….as you can see there is a lot going on in our lives. I will promise to try to keep up with this blog so you guys can keep track!
