Times, they are a changin’…

May 17, 2010

Hi All!  Once again it has been too long since I have said anything.  I have been super busy….you know unlike anyone else right….no I know that isn’t an excuse, but let me tell you how hard it has been “becoming a Texan”  Well in a loose sense of the word.  (Arkie all the way)  Anyway….enough about all of that…

I have a new job!  If you didn’t already know…I want to be a kindergarten teacher.  I have been working in the advertising field for some time now and I am DONE with that.  I enjoyed it for the most part and learned a lot, but I am ready to start my career as a teacher.  Right now I am going to be a co-pre-k teacher at a place in Sulphur Springs called Glory and Giggles.  I am very excited about it and can’t wait to get started.  I am going to take a few classes and a test and hopefully be teaching by the spring semester.  Or atleast well on my way!  So that is that….

Scott is still plugging away at Medicine chest.  I may be biast, BUT he is kicking butt!!!!  He is so good at what he does and they had no idea what to expect from such an awesome developer.  I’m totally Team Scott if you can’t tell! :)

The fishing here is out of this world :)   I mean it is boring to me, but I am trying;)  Scott is enjoying it and I get a lot of reading and sun bathing in. I was trying to think of exciting things to tell you guys, but for the most part we are kind of mundane….we work, we cook, we try to go to the gym, we fish/read….oh and clean house…..Texas living all the way :)   Well we did get to go see Vampire Weekend in Dallas, which was pretty sweet!  I had so much fun! AND this week Angels and Airwaves are playing and I think we are going to go see them!  So We are sorta exciting right?!!  I need to post some pictures, but I need my web developer fiance to help me! Hint Hint Scott if you read this :)

Anyway…ta ta for now!  LOVE
